Job Description:

• To oversee the safety at all flydubai stations with particular emphasis on ground operations safety issues, (cargo, ground handling, including ramp safety, aircraft loading, load control and passenger handling).

Job Responsibilities:

• Assists in the development of the flydubai Safety Policy and objectives, providing key inputs and identifying any gaps in the current process.
• Develops and maintains Safety risk management processes as applicable to Ground Operations hazards and risks.
• Provides safety assurance as applies to Ground Operations processes and procedures with special emphasis on Outstation Safety Audits in line with GCAA and IATA requirements.
• Leads investigations into ground accident or incident, in order to determine, as quickly as possible, the facts of the case and report with recommendations accordingly.
• Monitors all safety reports with emphasis on Ground Operations safety and ensures adverse trends are tackled appropriately and in time.
• Supports internal departments in the preparation of Safety Performance Indicators (SPI) as per the company and GCAA requirements.
• Monitors the safety performance of flydubai aircraft on the ground.
• Develops safety programs for review by the Safety Management Review Board and implement programs that are approved.
• Promotes the development of human factors program as a means of raising risk awareness, reducing error and enhancing safety.
• Communicates appropriate information relating to safety issues to management and employees in order to encourage and develop in continuing safety culture at all levels.

Job Requirements:

• IATA ISAGO or IOSA GRH/CGO qualification and/or Certified Lead Auditor preferred
• Current IATA DGR Category 6 certification preferred

Qualification & Experience:

• University Degree or equivalent
• Preferred No. of Years (with Bachelors Degree) 7
