Job Description:

To ensure that all Reporting requirements relating to the branch – Financial regulatory reporting to RBI, HO and other stakeholders as required is delivered accurately and on time.
To ensure that information requirements relating to all external regulatory inspections (RBI, GST, IT et al). are provided on time
To ensure that any ad-hoc queries relating to reporting are addressed accurately and on time
TO ensure that the general ledger proofing for sundry accounts as per the APPM of the bank is managed as per requirement and records and maintained and submitted to HO accurately and on time.
To ensure that vendor payments relating to the branch is done as per process along with the associated TDS compliance
To partake & contribute effectively in all branch finance related projects

Job Responsibilities:

  • Preparation of financial under GAAP and Ind AS
    Assisting Manager – Finance in ALCO and MANCO pack within stipulated timelines
  • Preparation of accounts as per the BASLE reporting as well as other requirements like IFRS etc.
  • Assisting Manager – Finance in ensuring timely completion of various audits without any adverse comments.
  • Prepare ALM reports and other liquidity returns
  • Adherence to the calendar for submission of Returns
  • Ensure timely and accurate preparation and submission of Returns to RBI and other regulators.
  • Provides relevant information to RBI inspection and RMD audit.
  • Maintaining all records, information for dealing with all authorities.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of statements to HO
  • Attending to Concurrent, Statutory Auditors and other auditors.

Job Requirements:

  • Should be proficient in Financial Sector accounting and all other statutory requirements.
  • Analytical and logical thinking, effective verbal and written communication/presentation skills, highly systematic and organized working style.
  • Need to be good in working on numbers and interpretation of tax laws.
  • Sound accounting and tax knowledge
  • Proficiency in Windows/Excel and all other computer applications as required for handling the finance and tax functions.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Chartered Accountant with 3-4 years of experience
