Job Description:
- Provide support to the business through regular detailed P&L MIS and analysis
- Regular improvement in the MIS generation process to attain maximum automation
- Assist in setting up & maintaining a strong control environment for reporting – GL recons, Dealer Signoffs, Checks & Balances, etc
- Support for adhoc reporting requests from business on a case to case basis
- Manage Hedge Accounting under IFRS for treasury investments
- Manage New Projects in treasury – relating to finance
Job Responsibilities:
- Devise accounting framework and managing external audit on hedge accounting, hedge effectiveness testing, etc.
- To provide support to design templates for efficient information gathering, consolidation and timely updates during the annual planning and monthly forecasting exercise.
- Continuous support to back office on all aspects related to accounting principles (as per IFRS 9), reconciliation and control aspects.
- Ability to build robust system of controls to align financials to financial and management reporting processes.
- Publish the monthly P&L to TCM Head and CFO, track unit wise P&L against budgets, highlighting opportunities and risks and following up on action points.
- Accurate CEO review presentation and continuous improvements
- Ensure adequate documentation & supporting for monthly investment valuation process
- Continuous automation of reports in Micro-strategy / Power BI tools.
Job Requirements:
- Should possess strong analytical skills capable of providing relevant insights from diverse and abstract information
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills capable of interacting with and managing expectations of senior most management in the bank
- knowledge of treasury products, interest rate risks & liquidity risks of various banking products
- Sound knowledge of accounting principles specifically related to treasury products. Working knowledge of IFRS 9 guidelines preferable
- Project management skills to coordinate and deliver on critical projects
